They are the birthplace of wild salmon & steelhead

You can use one for a sinker
You can make tools with them
Some use them for weapons
They are older than us
Moss grows on them – unless they roll
Some have spiritual significance
You can build with them
Rocks keep your fire in its place
You lose your tackle in them
You can take a nap on a big one
Mountain lions jump from them
They often arrange themselves into boulder gardens
They make good paper weights
