Sponge Float

More steelhead and salmon have probably been caught in rivers with drift floats than any other lure. This design comes originally from Pacific Northwest fishermen who have been using handmade versions for years. We have improved upon those original models to offer the Sponge Float.

It is approximately three quarters of an inch long and one half inch in diameter. It is made from our base sponge material and dyed with our proprietary color technology. A small flexible plastic tube runs down the center for your leader. Specially dyed yarn finishes the design.

The Sponge Float is an awesome fish catcher. It is fished like other float bobbers above your hook. It can be used with or without bait, (roe, tuna, shrimp, etc), and your special scent. Add an optional bead for more weight in slower moving waters, so it floats just above bottom. The Sponge Float can be seen better than other lures and feels softer in a fish's mouth, so it is likely to hold it longer and improve your chance of a hookup.
