Introduction
The setting is the beautiful Pacific Northwest and the coastal streams that host the most sought after game fish in the world. A horrible murder has taken place and the body is found floating in the river by an innocent steelhead fishermen. What wasn’t known at the time was that he had stumbled upon the most sinister terrorist plan ever to happen on this planet.

Would anyone figure out what was happening and stop it in time?

Billions of dollars had been moved around the world in small increments, so as not to draw attention, to finance the effort. Would the rewards justify the expenditure?

His antagonist is Henry, a Silicon Valley high tech dropout with connections to some of the most evil people on the planet. He’s smart, has a chip on his shoulder, and motivated to get even. He has a team literally located around the world who are taking advantage of the Internet, satellite communications, and other technology to execute their sinister plan. These terrorists appear to have a center in the Middle East but something doesn’t seem quite right.

Disclaimer - As I did my research for the book, I was shocked to find so much information about dirty bombs readily available in the Internet. Having said that, I suspect most/much of it is of little real value to terrorists. Further with the chaotic breakup of the former Soviet Union, a significant amount of radioactive material went missing and is unaccounted for to this day despite the efforts of the International “Rad Rangers” to track it down. There have been dozens of signs that the clandestine market in nuclear materials is thriving despite the concerted efforts and cooperation of almost every government in the world, with a few notable exceptions.

I was also surprised to learn that there are 300 or more radiation incidents reported each year, fortunately to-date, they have all been thwarted. This and much more information that is readily available, has led me to believe that the plot postulated in this book could happen.

I have made a conscious effort to avoid disclosing any specific details that I have learned so that this book will contribute nothing to the global scare that is already upon us. This work is complete fiction and frankly, I hope, beyond the capability of any person, organization, or government to actually make happen.
